I bought a beautiful, red, vintage matching set of luggage from the Indie Craft Bazaar @ Cinema Paradiso on 12/13/2009, the day after my wedding, and also where my new hubby and I previously planned on doing ALL of our Christmas shopping! I gave away most of the purchased, handmade & lovely works of arts & crafts to family and friends... only keeping a few items for myself, including this vintage matching set of luggage. The woman that sold it to me also had a display suitcase that she pained polka dots on... it looked so cute, I knew I had to embellish my new set somehow.

My hubby (The Modern Day Dali meets Picasso) instructed me to paint Jesso over the intended surface, to make the paint stick.


My Blank Canvas. Oh what will it be? What will I do?


I wanted to do something personal, and close to my heart.. so I sketched me shooting on a RED camera in Paris, looking at the Eiffel Tower and Siene River.
